Service Description

This upper-body workout is designed to build power, muscle, and control, with the bench press as the foundation. You’ll target the chest, shoulders, triceps, and core through️while improving pressing strength, stability, and overall upper-body performance. The session combines barbell and dumbbell bench pressing with complementary movements to increase muscle balance, enhance joint support, and reduce injury risk. Whether your goal is strength, muscle definition, or improved athletic performance, this workout challenges you to push with proper form, controlled tempo, and progressive intensity. Perfect for all fitness levels, modifications are provided to help beginners build confidence while advanced lifters continue to increase strength and refine technique.

Cancellation Policy

Gym Weightlifting Policy 1. Proper Attire & Equipment – All members must wear appropriate workout attire, including closed-toe shoes. Weightlifting belts, straps, and other supportive gear are recommended as needed. 2. Use of Spotters – For heavy lifts, especially squats, bench presses, and overhead presses, a spotter is strongly encouraged to ensure safety. 3. Proper Form & Technique – Members must use proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries. If unsure, seek guidance from a trainer or coach. 4. Weight Limits & Progression – Lift within your ability and progressively increase weights in a controlled manner. Reckless or excessive lifting that compromises safety is not allowed. 5. Re-Racking Weights – All weights, dumbbells, and barbells must be returned to their designated places after use. Leaving weights on the floor or machines is not permitted. 6. Chalk Usage – Chalk is allowed but must be used responsibly. Clean up any excess chalk after use. 7. Dropping Weights – Dropping weights is only allowed when using bumper plates for Olympic lifts in designated areas. Avoid excessive noise and unnecessary weight dropping. 8. Time Limits on Equipment – During peak hours, please be mindful of others by limiting time on equipment and sharing when necessary. 9. Cleanliness & Hygiene – Wipe down equipment after use and maintain personal hygiene to ensure a comfortable gym environment for all. 10. Respect for Others – Be courteous to fellow lifters. No excessive yelling, aggressive behavior, or disrupting others’ workouts. 11. Gym Staff Authority – Gym staff and trainers have the right to enforce policies and correct unsafe behavior. Failure to comply may result in warnings or suspension from the facility. 12. Accountability First Fitness nor the DeSoto Recreation Center is not responsible for the misuse of the weights causing injury to oneself.
